I dislike Mary Phillips school dress code because I'm not
used to being in a uniform. I dislike the school dress code because I don't get
to be my colorful self. I dislike school dress code because we don't have many
options color wise. I also dislike school dress code because when shopping
there's not much to look for but the basic things. I think I look like everyone
else that's boring and not my usual look. I'm just not like the school dress
code because fashion is everything to me, but I make do with what I have to
wear and usually it's cute and I feel like me again.
There are many reasons why I don’t like our Mary Phillips
school dress code. I just feel like as teenage students we should be able to
express ourselves. I as a person and a teenage girl love fashion, so I think
school should be one of the many places where we express ourselves. The colors
are really plain to me. They don’t really show who we are. If we were able to
at least change up the color of our bottoms then I would probably like the
dress code more. One of the many things that bother me about the dress code is
the colors because the clothes aren’t that hard to find.
I don’t like the school dress code because everything is so
limited, from the uniform down to the colors of our jackets, shoes, and much
more. We have to wear these few colors and things every day and I find that
really boring. If we could have days
twice a week where we could come to school dressed up in our choice of clothing
that would be nice. My whole point in disliking uniform and school dress code is
because I came from a school last year where we got to wear our own choice of
clothes. Some days when you come to school you want to be comfortable, and
maybe put on something rather comfy like maybe a T-shirt, and some shorts or
jeans. But instead we have to wear our school uniform.
I do however get mixed feelings sometimes about the school
uniform. There are many reasons because of it it’s easier to find clothes it doesn't usually take me as long as it usually would. I’m not really fond of the school
dress code but I do believe that if you add some you into the uniform your
outfit would turn out fine. On the Brightside everyone looks so neat, and well
put together.
